a somewhat different reality In at least one of our realities, the scoundrel and the magic user met beforehand. the circumstances are unclear but also irrelevant for this story. suffice to say that they met, and that their names are Kasja and Abelgenaffar, as they have always been. Kasja is a hafling with an inclination for the shadows and other peoples assets, while Abelgenaffar is looking towards the light both as knowledge but also in a more physical sense, after a childhood in the Underdark. in this world, they originate in the same realm, albeit in different parts of it. ...

outro/intro after the last patrol in Langston, I said my goodbyes to continue my trip to the Ephenbald’s farm, leaving some of the artefacts I collected or was carrying with me with the town, to prepare for a lighter trip. also took some time to reflect a bit on the experience and conversations with Roy during my trip into the forest and towards the coast. after the last adventure I feel more robust, having had a first round of real battles, and practised archery quite a lot. for me, this is a much preferred approach to using swords when fighting. from spending some time and chats with the druid Roi, I realised the strange feeling I had of connecting with the woods was a preamble to my capability to manipulate the magic essence present in nature and cast some spells. part of it applies to my archery, and now I am able to mark my quarries if I concentrate, allowing me to hit more precisely, causing more damage. this is great! now I feel like a more confident and better archer! ...

Quellek Entitilitus this is the story of Quellek Entitilitus and their exploits in the unexplored lands of Colostle. the Colostle is made of gigantic rooms that contain full ecosystems in them (mountain, oceans, jungles, …) interconnected by doors, stairs and cracks, with up to scale versions of structures and furnishments commonly expected in common sized castles (beams, braziers, columns disappearing in the clouds). is it an enormous/oversized castle? is it that the inhabitants shrunk? nobody knows. ...

Langston This is my attempt to chronicle the adventures of Blovo during his brief time in Langston (“The wolves of Langston”), based on some notes taken at that time. this chronicle contains a combination of short notes with names, impressions and actions, as well as portions of a bit more elaborate retelling which I, as chronicler, put together trying to compose some sort of narrative. in time, everything might be rearranged in this last format, but for now some parts would appear as written by Blovo (his thoughts or what he said), while some might be written by me, the chronicler. ...

Blovo Allow me to introduce you to Blovo, and all that is known about his past. this is just part of the story, put together after some investigation and time spent talking to Blovo and the Ephenbald, his adopted human family, during my travels around the realms. the Ephenbald “Blovo” is a Hill Dwarf. he has been raised by a farming human couple (Krogg and Portclia Ephenbald), living quite far away from other towns or settlements. the couple lived in a long and narrow glen, a dead-end valley surrounded by tall mountains, about a 4 hour walk through hard terrain from the end of the valley. life was hard there and the weather extreme at times, but for some reason they decided to settle there and were usually left alone. they were not unfriendly but were mostly self-sufficient and didn’t visit the closest village (really just a sparse group of farmhouses) often, perhaps 4 times a year. the visits where mostly just Krogg meeting other farmers to barter and keep in touch. ...
